As you walk in, you already know you are in store for something special. You will be always greeted with friendly smile at the front as they prep you for your massage. Choices are the traditional thai massage where you are fully clothed in Thai pajamas and the aroma therapy where you are semi-nude then massaged with aromatic oils.
If you haven't been to a real Thai masseuse, the experience is a mixture of assisted yoga poses and targeting of problem areas by way of hands, elbows and their feet. Always let them know when to apply more or less pressure depending on your comfort level. I always opt for the 1.5 hour and although it can be painful, I notice that my lack of stretching at the gym is all taken care of. Oh, allocate one day of recovery from exercising, you'll need it!
200 reviews can't be wrong. That massage hurt. But it hurts so good.
I loved the atmosphere. Soft music plays amidst the dim lighting, clean and well-kept "rooms" are separated by curtains. Unfortunately, curtains do nothing to prevent sounds from being heard. The moaning and groaning of other patrons can range from annoying to mildly entertaining.
For $1/minute, it's a bargain as far as massages go around here. An hour is not enough. You will leave beat up, but not bruised; it's painful, yet satisfying at the same time. You'll be yearning for more in no time.
The masochistic side of me enjoyed it, but it truly isn't for everyone.

First off, thanks to the other Yelpers that reviewed this place - I would have never know about it otherwise. That said, this was hands-down the best massage I've ever had.
I'd been curious about a thai massage forever and how it differs from what I'm used to (swedish, deep tissue, shiatsu, etc.) so I figured after 10 hours on a plane earlier this week, this was the perfect time.
People aren't kidding - this is not for the weak. The pressure is super-intense so don't plan on one of those relaxing, fall-asleep on the table kind of massages. But they work. It. Out. My therapist went to town on my neck and shoulders and honestly I've never felt better. And then they stretch you out like Gumby.
The atmosphere is really peaceful, tasteful and clean. And very reasonably priced. Oh - and I called at about noon and got in that same evening. Love it can't wait to go back.

i loved my massage. when i sat up at the end of my two hour massage i felt weird, i couldn't figure out what this weird feeling was. and i finally realized, i was feeling nothing! no sore neck and shoulders after who knows how long i've been feeling tight and sore, it was amazing!!
i didn't mind the semi-communal rooms that everyone talked about. it was actually more private than i expected and i found other peoples moans and groans a bit humorous. as many yelpers said, it is definitely deep tissue and can be somewhat painful at times, but i actually was able to fall asleep for a little while. that's how sore i am and how great it was to get it worked out!! sonja was awesome, good pressure but it really was what i needed.
i am a little confused since i had booked a one hour thai massage and one hour of reflexology, but it was more like only 15 minutes of reflexology. i was expecting longer foot massage, but maybe my understanding of reflexology is different? i didn't complain cause i felt great after, so whatever they did was what i needed.
the price is great to $60 for 60 minutes!! i'll definitely be back.
If you want every muscle unknotted at once in a serene, clean, almost shmancy atmosphere, this is your place. (Personally, I prefer rolfing, but hey.)
A great deal of $65 an hour!
Tony rocks. Just be sure to tell him how much pressure and pain you can take.

I've been to Suchada about 5 times now. And if i could afford it I would go every week. They are friendly there and very clean. Also they are open everyday and always do their best to fit me in last minute.
The massage is thorough and very deep. I love deep tissue massage and i was cringing and smiling at the same time. Amazing! I'm a hair stylist and i work a lot with my body, i get super tense in my back neck and shoulders, and forearms. Kwan is a little asian woman and she used her fingers, elbows, knees, fists, and feet to work my muscles loose. Best 60 dollar 60 minute massage in the city.
If you have never had thai massage before, get ready to be worked over. and then bent and twisted and pulled and cracked. Go Get It!

I feel like everyone's going to hate me for not raving! The amount of 4 and 5 star reviews of this place is crazy. Between the rampant Yelp adoration and a friend's recommendation, I decided Suchada was worth a try.
For the first time ever, I booked a 1.5 hour massage. I've had massage before, but never more than an hour. But I was approaching a week long "meet the family" visit with my boyfriend, so I figured the stress of that was worthy.
Unfortunately for me, I did not realize how different this experience would be from typical massage. In the end, I felt like I'd been tortured rather than massaged. At points I was actually in substantial pain, yet she never really got me relaxed and didn't get some of the kinks out that normal massage gets for me. If I'm going to be manipulated into crazy poses, I'd rather do yoga. My favorite part of the whole experience was the lemongrass tea at the end. I'll be going back to Mill Valley Massage from now on, where there are private rooms (the lack of walls really bothered me, especially when the woman next to me started moaning and breathing funny... how do you relax to that?!) and I don't leave in pain.

Seriously...Hurts so Good! I try to get to Suchada at least once a month. The prices are unbelievable and the massages are incredible. I ALWAYS have tension/pain in my shoulders/back and these folks know how to make it go away every time. Great ambience, soothing environment and some "strong ass Thai people"..
The last time I went, the woman says at the end (as she asks me to pull on her while she contorts me into a pretzel)..."ha ha...you weak".
Damn skippy! She beat me to a pulp and I loved it.

Lots of snap crackle popping of the joints, then.......a deeply exhaled Aaaah as you sink further into the soft-matted darkness of your sultry red- draped room.

Amazing!!!! Tony is the best. Authentic Thai massage, only for people who want deep tissue work, this is NOT a lymphatic type massage. They will stretch you, crack you and realign you! It's perfect relaxation.

I had a Thai massage in Thailand a few years ago. AND, I have been wanting to get one here in SF forever. I am soo glad I FINALLY went to Suchada. It was GREAT!!!! I had the Thai AROMA massage. It was intense, but I felt sooo great afterwards. I can't wait to go back.
I highly recommend Suchada's Thai Aroma Massage for every kind of person. I've only had one better massage than Suchada in my life and it cost 3 times as much! The instant you step foot inside the studio you feel ohhh-soooo-zen.
I found Suchadaa on Yelp (like usual) and although it had amazing star ratings, I was hesitant because everyone wrote about being beaten up by relentless little ladies. I figured peeps were just dramatic (hehe) and decided to book the Aroma Massage any way - a good first timer massage for me since I've only experienced Swedish and Reflexology.
So all you folks reading this who are slightly afraid Thai massage will be too painful for you - I assure you, it's not. Yes, there were several moments when I flinched a little: once the therapist pulled my right arm back, jabbed one elbow into my right shoulder, then pushed her other arm through my arm (to create some sort of crazy pretzel) then jabbed her other elbow into my spine (holy crap), but she noticed my reaction immediately. Unlike other reviewer's experiences, my therapist softened the pressure right away. The rest of my massage felt like a typical Swedish.
There were also a ton of reviews about privacy and hearing your neighbors. Yes, you share the space with 6 or 8 other people. But honestly, it's not any different than getting naked at a regular day spa. The curtains are heavy and there's no way someone from the outside could see inside (especially with the dim lighting). Yes, you'll hear some grunt-y noises - but it's not that weird.
Several notable details:
-I was 15 minutes late to my 60 minute appointment and they still took me. My session was not cut short and the staff did not seem annoyed at all. Awesome.
-The light Thai music and aroma oils were amazing to my senses! Be sure to drink the lemongrass tea after your massage.
-Staff is super polite and respectful. They barely speak English so prepare to smile and nod a lot (lol).
My only complaint is that for half the massage, I was on my stomach on the floor mat and had my face in a pillow. My neck got kinda tired of being bent to one side after an hour... too bad we can't invent some cool way to still lay on the floor and be able to comfortably place our heads into a hole (does that sound funny?) to breathe.
Any way, don't be scared of this place and book your appointment ASAP! I may have to make it a monthly treat to self.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah...that was the best thing that ever happened to me. Holy crap...I've never had Thai massage but now I'm never having anything else.
I've been studying for the bar for 2 months, so my back is a mess. My masseuse walked all over me (in a good way), dug the hell out of my knots with her elbows, stretched out my shoulder muscles with her heels. It was super intense and painful, but the best kind of painful there is. I'm usually pretty disappointed with the lack of pressure on my knotty back during a massage..not so much of an issue here!
So if you can't handle someone digging the crap out of your muscles, then don't go here. But if you're like me and you're slightly a sadist and want someone to knead your knots into submission...then this place is HEAVEN. Pure heaven.
A totally great deal.
I called on a Friday and they were able to accommodate me for the same evening. I have been to numerous massages and was used to (Swedish, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue) so it was a good thing I was pre-warned on what to expect. If you're looking for a nice relaxing massage, this is not it initially. Ever had someone step on your backor apply pressure with their feet and bend you in ways you didn't think was possible? It was totally INTENSE but I felt so relaxed and good afterwards. It was a good thing that I did not book 1.5 hour for my 1st time there. I'm not sure if I would have been able to stand the Intense. I am definitely coming back and booking a longer one. Pam was very good. She kept checking on me to see if the pressure was too hard . The Lemongrass tea they offer you afterwards is yummy!!!
Wow, this was an amazing massage! My friend and I booked massages (60 minutes each), felt so good I'll definitely book 90 minutes next time. And at those prices, you can't afford not to! The only drawback was the extremely noisy guy grunting and groaning in the room next to me. But frankly, 20 minutes into the massage I didn't really care - it felt THAT good!
Still the best! The last session with Tony was just amazing. Felt soooo good after what seems like a never ending hour massage. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Well, maybe The Four Seasons in Sayan (Bali, Indonesia), but now I'm just daydreaming. My husband and I LOVE Suchada. He's been back more than I have because of his back and always returns home with this renewed, relaxed and satisfied look. I think one more visit and the next one is a freebie..yay! Thanks again Suchada. He hasn't complained about any back problems since his first visit nor has he been back to see his chiropractor who did nothing to improve his back after 10 pricey treatments.

I could live here....seriously. I've said that I would live in Din Tai Fung, Mastro's, Trader Joe's, Target, LV, Bob's Donut Shop, Minami.....
"If only I was a relative to the owners of Suchada!" ....
I came in on Saturday unsure of what to really expect. After changing into some "one size fits all" pj's I was escorted into a private massage booth. You don't feel like you're on King Street, SF anymore.
For a good hour I was stomped, stretched, patted, SWUNG and curled. I can only imagine how stupid I must have looked if I were on video, but it was the BEST massage ever. Painful yes, but if you tell them that it hurts, they'll know. I have a very low tolerance for pain, but I wasn't crying out like *ahem* some folks from the other rooms.
One hour later I emerged feeling refreshed, NEW, REBORN!......leaving half of my made up face on the face pillow, hair in a mess, smeared eye makeup.....and yet I still felt good.
One word to the ladies...
forget the hairspray/makeup......it'll get ruined after wards....but it's sooooooooooo worth it.
I'll definitely be back.
P.S. Ask for the guy with the pony-tail. He was unbelievable!!!

So to repeat what many people have already said this place was awesome. I was just there this past Saturday and loved it so much that I'm booking another massage for this next weekend too.
It was my first traditional Thai massage and it left me feeling great. As mentioned in other reviews the massage was particularly nice because one they have a nifty sheet, which the therapist gets, where you indicate where exactly you want the most attention, and two they do some deep stretching while massaging you. I know it doesn't sound that special, but in my book, the stretching really let the therapist work out some of my major knots.
Following my session, I've already recommended the place to 4-5 close friends. Try it and you are bound to be hooked.

This place is really awesome. I'll just leave it at that. I'm trying to remember why I haven't been here in so long - and there really is no excuse.
Great massage - just great and so much better than a swedish-style massage or whatever it is you normally get. There's just so much more you can do when the person isn't fixed in one position.
I finally feel human again after abusing my body this week...thank goodness for that. And I will be back again very soon.

Wow - i will definitely go back. Here are some things to know which everyone has already said. Yes you can hear your neighbors. this is not some frou frou spa. This is the best if you really need to de-stress your body. they knead you and pull you and do all these awesome things that while you are getting it done it doesn't feel so good but later in the day you can feel your muscles just relax. This is not a place for the sensitive. this is a place for the strong :)

I'm too nicely rubbed out, stepped on, bended and molded by some really strong thai woman to sit at this computer and let my neck or back or even eyes get strained bothering writing this. The ambiance of the massage rooms are great and the massage was strong and focused it's all for a really good price.

My wife bought us both 1-hour traditional Thai massages for our anniversary. It was the best gift EVER! She didn't enjoy the experience quite as much, as it was a whole lot more pain than pleasure in her case, as she willed herself to die as the massage therapist walked all over her. My experience, albeit a little painful, was definitely of the 'hurt so good' variety-- I can't wait to go back! Who knew I had knots in my calves? Nisa did! But don't use her... I want her available for me the next time I go back ; )
We requested two beds side-by-side, and were accommodated beautifully. They opened up the curtain that divided out two rooms, so essentially we were in the same room. However, it didn't really make a difference when the massages were taking place because I was either face-down in a face pillow, or on my back with my eyes covered by an eye-pillow... The music, the decor, the aroma--the overall ambiance was very serene and peaceful. The prices are also very reasonable, which is a huge plus =) And, try the lemon grass tea-- it really is quite good!
AND! Yes, we can hear you! Curtains are not very good sound barriers, so please take the pain silently and let me have my own massage experience without you in it! I'm talking to the woman across from me loudly moaning out in pain, and then saying "I guess it's all part of the experience." Usually I'm the one laughing at the inappropriate times, but come on people-- you've read the reviews...

Magical! All I can say that it was really good and I'm glad that I've found the place on Yelp. Decided to come here with a friend after a long overdue massage.
The ambiance of the place is relaxing with nice background music. I had the Aroma Therapy massage where they massage you with oil for an hour and a half for $95. That was a really good price, I think.
The Thai woman who massaged me did every technique she knows and used almost every part of her body on mine! Her feet, legs, hands, knuckles, and elbows. She even cracked my lower back that hurt so much before I went in. Very traditional. And here I was thinking that I was going to fall asleep during my session. The woman really worked my body out.
After I got out of the place, I felt like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders and my lower back is "cured"!!! I felt more relaxed and awesome!!
Went there with a sore neck, left with an extra pep in my step. I dare someone to find me a lady with stronger hands. She kept asking "too much pressure?" and I was too stuck between a hard hand and a pressure point to say anything in response. Other reviews are correct when they mention that this place helps you step out of the busy city streets and into some serious relaxation. I will going back again.

Not for everyone. It has a serious pain factor which kind of feels good to me. Stretching, pulling, twisting, stepping, elbowing, you name it. Doesn't sound like a relaxing massage, eh? Nonetheless I love this place. I got a bit lost trying to find this place the first couple of times, but hey.. I get lost everywhere I go.
Suchada's space is tiny but cozy. The tea they serve after your massage is a Lemon-Grass tea, which I never can get enough of.
The individual rooms are separated by curtain where you basically can hear anything. The last time I went here, the man was grunting.. keep your grunting to yourself sir.
My only issue about the new space is there are no showers or an area to freshen yourself up after getting your ass kicked aka massage. I always ask for Nina, she consistently does a fab job.
I've been going to this place since it was at Apple's house in the Richmond District. All I can say is this is the best thai massage in the bay area. The price is right and service is very good. I wish I could afford to get my massage every week, but it is what it is :)
I would recommend this place to everyone!!

Sweet Jesus...I feel like I went 5 rounds with Mike Tyson after my massage yesterday. The night prior, I was hardly able to sleep, the pain in my neck & shoulders being so bad from hunching over handsewing tiny doll clothing, so I knew it was time for a massage. I'd seen Suchada whilst browsing Yelp & with all the great reviews, decided to call them first for a same-day appointment and bingo! they had something that afternoon, so off I trotted.
The space itself is great - peaceful & dark. The massage - the most intense deep-tissue work I've ever had. At times, it was bordering on painful, but I knew that it was what needed to work my crippling knots out. If you're looking for a massage experience that's all about relaxation, this probably won't be the place for you. If you need some serious pummeling, then I'd recommend it. If you don't want to hear someone next to you being massaged, then try somewhere else, as there's only heavy curtains dividing the spaces - I probably moaned a couple of times & had to do a lot of deep-breathing as it hurt like buggery. If you expect me to just lie back & think of England, you got another thing coming..
After my massage, I was wiped out & had to come home and take a nap - miracle of miracles, I could sleep & was no longer in pain. Today, I feel sore in places, but completely rejuvenated & able to work. Thank you Sunet & Suchada!
I coerced my husband to give this place a try after all the good things we've been reading about the Thai massage here, but found the experience pretty disappointing. The place was really hard to find and the lady who was answering the phone had no idea on directions. We did manage to get there only 10 minutes late and ended up receiving a 50 minute massage. Anyway I made two one hour appointments for the Thai Aromatherapy and didn't find anything special about it....It was basically a mediocre swedish massage with some stretching.
Holy crap.
I've had massages before, but I think I'm settled for good.
I've been having persistent neck/shoulder problems (carrying may laptop everywhere/staring at computer 24/7) and just about every massage place has given me the usual low-down. You know...some pressure but not too much, it feels nice but I'm not blown away.
This place blew me away. The lady applied REALLY DEEP AND SLOW strokes that could only be describe as...the most wonderfully painful experience ever. It hurt so good. She applied pressure EXACTLY on the neck/shoulder areas that were hurting me and took out those tense knots. So out of the hour session, I'd say a good 45minutes of it were focused on my problem area...which is exactly what I wanted. I felt like jelly afterwards :)
oh thai massage...where have you been all my life?!
I've been wanting a massage for a while, now. (I've only had a professional massage twice before in my life, and they were over two years ago.)
I needed a valid excuse to just treat myself, though.
Cue: Mother's Day and my mother's first time out to California.
I had to go unique. The woman has never had a massage, much less a THAI massage (which is QUITE different, mind you).
We both arrived on a Friday afternoon. I'd never spent much time in this part of town, but it was certainly upscale. The decorations inside are BEAU-TI-FUL. It's cozy and you are required to take your shoes off upon arrival. While we waited for our "rooms" to be ready, they treated us to (decaffeinated) lemongrass tea (super-tasty). We were given a short form to fill out that had a diagram of a body, and we were told to circle the areas we felt we needed extra work on. (I circled my legs....I had been dancing all night and it sounded like a good idea in my hungover state. More on that later...) Once our rooms were ready, we were led behind the wall that divides the waiting room from the massage-area.
I was blown-away by how GORGEOUS everything was. Each massage "room" is divided by huge, thick curtains. Each "room" is a raised platform with a futon-style mattress on the floor. Pillows and blankets were all over, as were other decorations. Folded on top of the bed was my change of clothes: loose-fitting cotton garments.
I was directed to change into the clothes and await my masseuse.
The clothes were super-soft, very comfortable. I was ready to fall asleep (damn you, binge-drinking the night before!) the minute I got comfortable.
My masseuse came in after about five minutes.
She was an intimidating little Thai woman with some RIPPED legs, highlighted by her tightly rolled-up pant-legs. I've never SEEN such muscle definition. I was....not ready.
She didn't say much; just pointed out my legs and asked if that was correct. She brought in an extra pad to lay under me with support so she could work my legs.
Right away, I knew this was going to be a LOT different from other massages I have experienced. "How?" you might ask.
Well, the only way I can explain thai massage: forced yoga with pressure applied to you while you're in the assumed position.
I was twisted into all sorts of pretzel-liked positions. Not only was I twisted, but I was walked all over (literally) while IN pretzel-form.
At one point, she was sitting on the ground across from me, holding my arm out, with her heel dug up into my armpit, pulling my arm, pushing up....not sure why, but it worked. I felt loose as a goose afterward.
Another time, she had me hold my chin and stood behind me, lifting me with my arms (thereby lifting my chin).
She also had me lay on my stomach, cross my legs, and NOT cringe while she crawled with force up my entire backside.
Yeah, it was weird....but it was SO COOL!
I should have avoided the legs, though..not worked them. I have never been through such hell in terms of sore muscles. The day after the massage, I was in a sorry state. I could barely walk, and I made it with the help of Tiger Balm and arnica gel. I looked like an old lady when I tried to walk up stairs: hanging off the support, crawling, slower than molasses....I hurt. I hurt a lot. (I still kinda hurt...and it's MONDAY.)
Near the end of the hour, she brought out some scalding-hot clothes with herbs wrapped into the middle. She pounded them all over my body, and, once I got over the initial heat, it felt AMAZING (especially since she'd beaten me to a pulp for the past 45 minutes).
I wasn't sure if it was over when it was. She bowed to me in prayer and I assumed, but my mom was still getting worked over...so I laid there and bit and just took it in.
Every time I saw my masseuse after that, she grinned in a devil-ish manner. She totally knew what she'd done to me.
My mom's experience was different. She had circled her hands, but the lady didn't spend much time on them. She did, however, have a much more RELAXING experience. She had an aromatherapy pad over her eyes for the majority of it, and her masseuse asked her if she wanted the massage to be soft, medium, or hard in terms of pressure. My mom was wise to go with medium, and she wasn't NEARLY as sore as me the next day.
I have already recommended this place to a TON of friends. It's truly an experience and I can't wait to go back. It'll become a regular thing :)
I do have a gripe: the massage is advertised as $60 on the door, $65 on the website...yet they charged me $70 each. You better believe I took it out of her tip.

The best place in town to tap into your inner Buddhist/masochist. Prepare to be pummeled, prodded, stretched, snapped and cracked into nirvana. Thai massage is more than a "hands-on" experience as the practitioners use their whole bodies in various ways to help yours become more balanced. Do not confuse this style with a passive, oily Swedish rub down. This is a much more vigorous exotic cousin.
The individually draped, dimly lit mat rooms are beautiful and serene. The loose clothing they give you to wear during the treatment is so comfortable you will forget it's there. The soft Buddhist chanting in the background is perfect and the tea that they serve at the end pulls it all together. I loved my experience and feel looser and more aligned today. The final back crack my masseuse snapped from my body was an epiphany. Those bones are back where they belong and I know I'll be back where I belong - at Suchada - before too long.

I went to Suchada today. Now, I went to Thailand in January and had a thai massage almost everyday I was there. I must say that I was surprised at how authentic this place was...from the decor, the floor massage, to the pants they have you change into. ?Jun? was my massuese. She put me through some pain, but it was so worth it because I've got some tight muscles right now that needed to be worked on. She would ask me if I was ok to make sure it wasn't too much, so that was nice. I will be going back for sure.

Just when you think things can't get any better they do... So I booked a Thai Herbal massage for myself and my BF.... I have had numerous massages here and wanted him to experience the magical mysterious wonder known as Thai massage... Needless to say he was less then thrilled when I told him I booked us both massages for the following day.... This confused me....
Me: " Why are you not excited?'
Him: "Well because I like traditional Swedish massage?"
Me: "But you've never had a Thai Massage"
Him: " I know but it just sounds kind of weird and I don't really know what to expect."
Me: "Your going to love it"
Him: "Okay but if its at all creepy or if they hurt me I'm going to tell them to stop."
So on Monday we arrive at our appointments.. to my pleasant surprise they put us in rooms next to each other and open up the partition in between so we could see each other... Also they added head rest's so you could place your head straight down and still be able to breath... much more comfortable then the old pillow where you had to choose which side your neck turned. So a couple of times I look over and can't really get a read if he is enjoying his massage... I did however see her helicoptering him...(his legs up in the air while her hips were rested on his feet which I thought was pretty entertaining... He finished a minute or two before me and when I finished I looked over at him, just sitting there with this blissful grin on his face.
Me: " Did you like it?'
Him: "That was the most amazing thing ever"
He has decided that we need to go back once a week and wouldn't leave until he bought a pair of the fisherman pants that you wear during the massage, and has basically been wearing them ever since and has every intention of buying more.... He basically wants to move to Thailand now... but I think Suchada will suffice....
If you've ever had Traditional Thai Massage....(note, this is NOT the kind with the happy finish)...you will know that it is not a relaxing experience until your bruised and battered body has left the building.
Pain aside, I visit Suchada at least every other month to deal with the stress that builds up in my little frame. The massage therapists are extremely skilled and have been trained at Wat Po in Bangkok. So if you've only done the beach side Thai massage, this is way way way better. Although, a massage on the beach is fantastic.
The ambiance is authentic Thai, right down to the Theravada Buddhist monks on the soundtrack. I even gave my ever so difficult (at least about her massages) mother a 2 hour gift certificate on her last visit here. She was such a happy camper there was ne'er a complaint from her for the rest of the visit.
P.S. If you do go, *please* be quiet in the waiting area, heed the signs asking you to keep your voice low and to refrain from loud and obnoxious cell phone conversations. We can all hear you. Worse, make sure that your cell phone is off during the treatment. Thais are often too gracious to "shush" you, but I'm not. So shush! Otherwise, enjoy...

My entire experience from start to finish was excellent. I was initially provided with an intake form and diagram to provide information on areas that needed work or to inform the staff of any pre-exsisting injuries. The staff was curteous and warm.
My masseuse Nui was very patient and skillfull. Areas that were particularly stiff and tender she took the time to work on providing much needed relief. As well, the massage was completely relaxing and a breath of fresh air from the day-in day-out grind. I went away with a better understadng of the importance of fexibility and certain areas that I will want to work on in the future.
I highly recommend Suchada Thai Massage and specifically Nui. I have received various types of massages in the past and by far this is the best I have had.
OWWWWCh ... but OH So Good!
* Apple! Thank you for "no more sore neck"!!
Will be back with hubby!

On my trip to Thailand, I developed an addiction of sorts to Thai massage. I love how intense it is, how painful, and yet, how incredibly enjoyable. I now think I might be a closet submissive.
After a few weeks back, I decided that I wanted another Thai massage. Ok, it wasn't that rational; my body CRAVED another Thai massage. Based on the great reviews on this site. I gave Suchada a shot.
Amazing. It was like being in Thailand. The staff even wear the yellow shirts I saw everywhere over there. The facilities are beautifully decorated. Though only a curtain separates you from your neighbor, you are given a good deal of your own space. There is (I think) a queen size mattress on the floor, with plenty of room (for you and your masseuse) to move around the sides. They also provide the loose clothing for you to wear, which consists of a baggy shirt and thai fisherman pants.
The massage itself was incredible. It is very intense, and at times, even uncomfortable. It often involves the masseuse bending your limbs around in strange ways and otherwise (wo)man-handling you. Think of it as "involuntary yoga."
But when you walk out of there, you feel like a million (relaxed and well-aligned) bucks.

I'm not sure what I can contribute to the 100+ glowing reviews that have already been written for Suchada, but I'm compelled to share my story.
Briefly, I woke up one Thursday morning with a severe crick in my neck. I was in pain and could not turn my head to the left. I needed a good massage, and I needed it fast.
I called Suchada based on the yelp reviews, even though I was not sure whether thai massage would be useful for such a specific problem. I knew that the exprience would be intense, and (ultimately) relaxing, but I was not sure whether it would actually increase my mobility or alleviate my pain.
As you might expect, given my 5-star review, I was VERY pleasantly surprised by my experience. Not only was I able to book an appointment with less than 3 hours notice, but I was also treated by a masseusse who was quite willing to focus on my neck andmanaged to loosen it up significantly. When I left Suchada, I still had some pain and stiffness, but after a good night's sleep, I am pleased to report that I am almost 100% pain-free!
Amazing :)
